ESL is proud to be joining forces with The Cybersmile Foundation and celebrating Stop Cyberbullying Day taking place today, Friday, June 16th 2017. Stop Cyberbullying Day is a true celebration of an inclusive and diverse online environment, with individuals, organizations, celebrities, corporations, schools, governments and many more coming together to work towards creating an online space everyone feels comfortable in.

Nowadays, a lot of our personal and professional lives happen online whether it’s sharing our private moments on social media or working on international projects across the globe. We talk, read, shop, work and do many other things on the internet which is why it is very important for us to feel comfortable and safe in a place that has become so substantial for us.

As the world’s largest esports company, ESL cares about the online comfort of people who compete in video games online, whether they are seasoned players or at the beginning of their competitive journey. ESL runs a vast number of online leagues across multiple games and it is our goal for players to not be held back by a negative online environment. We also want to encourage new players to not be afraid of taking a chance in online competition, as we fight for an environment that’s welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
